League of Legends (LoL) Question: Questions about the jungle.

    Questions about the jungle.

    1. I have a serious problem with the jungle, especially the new jungle. I simply can't gank successfully. And I have to recall a lot,but my enemy doesn't need to recall too often. What should I do?

    2. I'm really confused...before,I used to start killing the Golem (Blue buff) but people are killing the Gromp/Krugs first. Should I kill the Gromp/Krugs or the Golem? and why?

    3. What champions should I buy? I'm not a experienced jungler and I didn't try most of the junglers.

Obs: English isn't my native language,if there are any grammar errors and you can't understand,I'm sorry... :c

    1. Ganking is the exact same as before.. Not sure how you're having trouble ganking, might need to clarify.

    2. Start by smiting Krugs / gromp

    3. That's for you to decide ;). Some strong junglers in the current patch are Lee Sin, Jarvan, Vi, Nidalee, Rek sai though

    1. That's about landing your skills then. Try to predict if the enemy has any escapes and wait for them to use it before you use yours. Don't rush to land your skillshot immediately. You appearing in lane is pressure enough.

    2. Smiting Krugs / gromp gives you a buff that helps you clear the jungle faster.

And you actually don't need to start blue on mana-hungry junglers like Amumu. It's a generalization that's completley inaccurate. Starting bottom side is often better because your bot lane can help you leash more efficiently.

Nidalee is definitely the most broken jungler in the game (perhaps together with Jarvan IV) lol. She's permabanned at my Elo (Diamond 2-Master)

She can make a full clear without basing and her overall roaming speed is super high. She can also use a lot of unconventional gank paths due to her mobility spells.

I dont think Nidalee is a viable jungler at all. She is super hard to use (has been and always will be) because of her mechanics and falls off mid-late game.

Also, I see many beginner junglers who plays without Greater Seal of Armor or Tough Skin , and without that, jungle hurts a LOT (especially this season) and therefore can slow you down.

For 2: if you have a man a intensive jungler (like Amumu) you obviously want to start with blue, but go for gromp first. Simiting any major monster in a camp will give a certain reward. Gromp gives a poison armor that whoever or whatever attacks you gets poisoned. This helps TREMENDOUSLY for clearing.

If you have a jungler that prefers red instead of blue, you want to go for krugs first. Smiting the large krug gives an auto attack buff that every 6 auto attacks stuns the target. This too helps with clearing for you take less damage from the Brandleback(?).

    1. For example: I miss Lee Sin's Q or I can't come close enough to stun the enemy with Gragas' Body Slam. Or I die ;-;

    2. Why?

    3. I will try Nidalee,thanks :3

    1. Both ganking and the frequency of your recalls are heavily dependent on which jungler you are playing, so if you told us which junglers you generally play, we could give you some better advise. (Do include your general route)
Also, if you are having trouble with sustain/ganks, pick up a Stalker's Blade and don't forget to buy some Health Potions.

    2. Embracing and Electro covered it.

    3. If you are new to the jungle, you could start off by playing Jarvan IV, Pantheon and Xin Zhao. While the last two are not the best junglers around, they both are very easy to play and both have no problems ganking/sustaining in the jungle.

Sadly, I don't really play any of those junglers, but your route seems fine and all of these should do- okey-ish in terms of not getting destroyed by the jungle, if you take Tough Skin and run flat armor yellows.

    1. Diana, Riven, Volibear and Amumu.
Gromp -> Blue buff -> Murkwolves -> Red buff.

    Thank you,LevasK.

    1. ganking isnt much different than before...that just means you are not very experienced at jungling watch LCS and how they gank, their patterns and ways of getting into lane to gank to improve your skills.

    2. you should do krugs or frog first because it gives you help in the jungling (poison dmg or stun) and then move onto the red/blue, use a pot after it and then go to the other buff... I prefer starting frog on any jungler, smite frog, kill blue and by the time you get to red buff you get your smite back and when u smite red buff you get some HP back.

    3. i suggest bying Pantheon, Xin, Vi, Rek Sai, Udyr, Jarvan and Lee Sin. I put these champs in order of mechanics requirements from easiest to hardest (in my opinion). These champs are very strong on the latest patch in almost all elo except maybe for some of them in Diamond
