Ranked point system inconsistency

My last 5 ranked matches I lost 2 of them losing between 18-22 points. The 3 i won i was only awarded 10,11,13 points. Its so annoying. Is this normal? Going on a 2 game winning streak is wiped out from 1 loss.

Depends on the match.

Do your enemies have a higher amount of LP than your team and you win? + A lot of LP
Do your enemies have a higher amount of LP than your team and you lose? - A little of LP

Do your enemies have a lower amount of LP than your team and you win? + A little op LP
Do your enemies have a lower amount of LP than your team and you lose? - A lot of LP

This the basic principle :P

It also depends how long you've been in your division. After an x amount of games in your division the amount of LP you gain for wins or losses become lower.

I pretty sure its by hidden elo, if its higher than your current division, you'll win more. And vise versa.

I'm in gold 5 but matched with gold 3-plat 5's, and I win 30-35 lose 10-15

Aye, the matchmaking system is the MMR+LP
Where LP is leaguepoints and MMR the MatchMaking Rating aka hidden elo.
If you have bigass MMR and a lower LP, you will be up against more difficult enemies but also have better allies, so you can get a lot of LP if you have big *** MMR :D

But the other way around, if your MMR is lower than your LP, then overal your allies are weaker and so is your enemy, and it will make you win less LP and lose more LP.

Hidden elo matters indeed :O
