League of Legends (LoL) Question: Skirmisher's Sabre over other items?

Skirmisher's Sabre over other items?
In the last two days I saw 
Skirmisher's Sabre being bought, by Diamond twice and by Jankos once. Did the smite change on Stalker's Blade give Skirmisher's Sabre a bigger niche? I could probably come up with a reasoning from the games with Diamond and Jankos. Any good jungler knowing the reason? Going to wait for OGN to switch to 5.1 and see if any korean jungler buys it.

The choice of jungler item depend on your champion and enemy. If you need extra slow, you're picking Stalker's Blade. If u have enough cc to do gank succesfully Skirmisher's Sabre is better. Skirmisher's Sabre is also very good due to giving vision, what may be vital against stealth mechanism champions like Vayne, Twitch or Wukong.
