Tryndamere ult is a great offense to any kind of situation. But its very wise to make sure that you use it carefully. In team fights you have the advantage to stay alive due to your ult, your job is to take out any squishy champion during the fight and when your low, use your ult to finish the job. For items, in my opinion you should get lifesteal items and attack speed. Having that build will keep you alive even longer but be wise when you choose to ult, just because you cant die while ulting doesn't mean you cant die after.
