What is a good Mark rune for supports?

I've always wondered what is the best Mark rune for supports. Currently im running Flat ad Marks for better turret pushing when it comes to that, but my guess is i'm probally using the wrong thing here. The rest of my runes i think are fine, the basic things like Armor Seals, Scaling MR glyphs and gp+ quints. The main supports i use are Soraka and Janna

IMHO it gives only 3 possible support marks - flat AD for better poke, flat armor against physical damage and flat Mpen for better magic poke :)

i prefer for and armor, u can better zone and poke with your attacks and skills.

all in one:

AD on high range supports like and
armor on tanky supports like and and squishy harass support like and .

Mpen for magic poke supports like , and

Hybrid pen is somewhat stronger than magic pen if you are autoattacking frequently in lane in addition to using magic damage skills.

Uh, mPen marks are primary, Meiyjhe.

To give a bit more help:
Marks are primary in physical damage output.
Thus AD runes will be very rewarding if you take them as marks.

Other rune options as:
MR, MPen, armor, mana regen are secondary, thus will reward less possible stats than you could get.

Technically, AD marks will be more rewarding :P

The only good marks for supports 90% of the time are armor, mr or mpen, all flat.

For Soraka flat armor is NEEDED. For Janna you can go MPEN or AD or armor, they're all pretty good. For Sona you want armor, for Lulu mpen, for Zyra mpen or armor, for leo you want armor or mpen, for blitz you want armor.
