League of Legends (LoL) Question: Why noone plays Ap Trynda anymore ?

So the nerf exactly was this:

"Bloodlust
Ability Power ratio adjusted to 0.3 + 0.012 per Fury consumed (total 1.5 at maximum Fury) from 1.5"

You bring up a good point that at 100% fury he has the same AP ratio, but the problem is when he isn't at 100% fury. Before AP Tryndamere could spam Bloodlust and heal himself up rather quickly even with little to no fury.

This nerf made it so AP Tryndamere can't rely on his Bloodlust to sustain himself when he can't auto attack. Furthermore, if an enemy takes you down to a rather low health you can't sustain yourself without getting into the wave; therefore, all that the other laner has to do is keep you away from their wave or in other words, zoning.

In terms of team fighting, I think all Tryndamere players realize that Tryndamere is relatively kitable, and relies on maintaining melee range and hitting critical strikes to use Spinning Slash. Now before AP Tryndamere didn't care and he could Spinnning Slash into the middle of teams, hit everybody with an AD reduction and slow, and then Bloodlust when he drops too low. So, let's do math:

Level 5 Bloodlust

Pre-Nerf Heal with 500 AP and No fury: 820 HP compared to Nerfed Heal with 500 AP and no fury: 220HP

Now the difference between those is 600 HP. That is very significant sure this decreases as you have more fury, but the true power of AP Tryndamere could spam his Bloodlust and Spinning Slash and nobody could do enough sustained damage to kill him with his Bloodlust and Undying Rage.

I am not saying at all that AP Tryndamere, but that is a summary of my thoughts on why he isn't played as much. Pluckin Penguin say it right. He got nerfed and now he isnt op as AP any more.
the other abilitys are now better for tryn ad.
