New Tier List

Description

This tier list tackles each and every champion that are viable to play as a support (not really).
They are ranked based on their kit, itemization, strengths/weaknesses, and current meta impact.
Note that this reflects only my opinion and made for fun, ofc :3

Of course, champions that are classified as supports are prioritized.

(Yes, I do have a lot of free time to do this.
edit: my work is hindering me from finishing this tier list lol)

Still A WIP. Not all champions are in their respective tiers atm and subjected to change in patches to come, champion notes too xd

1

S Tier (Current Meta/Best Picks)

The present and leading support champions at the moment. These champions are either mostly picked or banned by most players due to their current state in the meta. Overpowered, reliable, and provides great utility for their carries.

2

A+ Tier (Strong Picks)

This tier holds a great amount of play-making supports. These champions can dispense a considerable amount of crowd control and also caters the carries with good utility.

3

A Tier (Good Picks)

Unlike A+ Tier, these champions are considered A because they lack certain abilities that the higher tiers are capable of. Still, they're good nonetheless.

4

B Tier (Average Picks)

Mediocre yet, excels in their own respective manner.

5

C Tier (Niche Picks)

This tier shows a variety of champions that are situationally picked as a support in certain matches to outsmart or catch off-guard the opposition.

6

D Tier (Decent Picks)

In this tier, most champions come from Top, Jungle or Mid and Bot (Marksmen). They harness good amounts of crowd control in their own respective kits but the thing that makes them considered weak as a support is because they're better off farming in order to make their kit more effective.

7

E Tier (Weak Picks)

Missing more certain qualities unlike the higher tiers.

8

F Tier (Bad Picks)

This tier and below are champions that are weak later on in a game if played as a support. They excel but not in a 'support' manner.

9

G Tier (Grief Picks)

The rest of the champions that shouldn't be played as a support.
