Hello everyone, this is a quick Tier List I made based on what I consider are the most preferable choices to play support in the current meta (updated to 8.17). I added short notes to the champions to kind of give you an idea as to why they are in the tier I put them in. I will try to keep this guide updated with the patch changes and what I experience in my own games so if there's anything you feel like saying about the list (be it objections to a champion's tier or common support picks you think I skipped) let me know in the comments!

The strongest picks for the Support role, as of Ver. 8.17.

good enough picks
They may not be the best supports available, but if played well they can still make an impact throughout the whole game.

not recommended picks
These champions, for one reason or another, are not supports you should pick in a game you're serious about, at least for now.
