My personal tier list for mid-lane. Of course, many of these champions could potentially fit in "god" tier, it always depends on who's the one playing them. With that being said, keep in mind that this tier list also has to do with how convenient each champion is for the player. For example, Azir and Ryze have a high learning curve but don't reward the player as much for mastering them. Zed on the other hand also has a high learning curve, but he can prove useful to both newbie and a master, with the latter being rewarded quite a lot for mastering the champion (very high outplaying potential).

GOD TIER mid
These champions are particularly strong in lane and also have huge potential to influence the rest of the game

GREAT TIER MID
These champions don't always have a very strong laning phase, but they make up for it with their game changing scaling

GOOD TIER MID
These champions could have a strong laning phase, but they can only be exceptional threats under certain circumstances

AVERAGE TIER MID
These champions can still prove strong, but are counterpicked very easily so they are hard to snowball with

BAD TIER MID
These champions are either out of meta or struggling with almost every lane. They also fall off later in the game in most cases, making it hard for them to influence the game
