Don't you think that 's, 's and 's Ultimate can work better than 's tornado? :/
(but if you mean his Wind Wall, yea that's a pretty impressive thing I haven't thought about it before. people try to run or CC MF while doing her R. But still, they can still run...)

's ultimate needs more time to root the enemies and 's ult is a long range which might not root the opponents and cant position herself in right position coz enemies gets rooted in different position. 's ult is same as 's ult in case of early game but when it comes to team fights 's ult knocks them up at that time they cant attack in return but where as in 's ult enemies can hurt us back. Only while chasing 's ult is more powerful in team fights it only lowers movement speed which i think it is not affect as while chasing coz in team fights they wont run instead they stand and attack us.
So, thats the my reason if you think im wrong please correct me.

Hmm, nice. ++ can actually create a pretty damn strong combo then.

Yeah, I have played with that combo many times and i have many penta's and quardra's xD.
