So items like Redemption arent viable because of the low stats. Locket hurts but is necessary because of the insane delay on his"

Also for me personally I always get Locket of the Iron Solari, and consider it a must-buy item because your ult takes 2.5 seconds to active and your squishies can often be deleted well before that it kicks in.
