"Yeah i almost never do ranked 3s because i dont have many in game friends that play 3v3. I love ranked 3s but yea, sometimes i just get ranked against above average players and they hand me my ass."

"I suppose your right, i usually just build the tear to ensure i never have mana problems, and for some solid ap after rabadons. I guess its just preference, but ill have to try this build out sometime.
