Yes, boot upgrades are situational. I list boots of mobility and I talked about ninja tabi in the comments above. ^^ I personally wouldn't take mercury's treads since you already get tenacity with spirit of the ancient golem, and ninja tab"

"Typically, if I find myself in need of MR, I'll pick up Abyssal in place of Sunfire, since I have Ancient Golem for tenacity anyways. Works wonders from my experience."

"Well, Sej, unlike most tanks, gains the majority of her damage from health and doesn't really need AP or mpen to back it up. I always deal a surprising amount of damage as a full tank. Even more than an akali in a game I played.
