As most players here on MOBAFire we have our goals for season 3. Now a real quickie before I get started, I blame myself this season for making myself stuck at 1200 ELO.
*Skip if you don't care about the story!*
So It was just a normal day, I got my steam back because for some reason it wouldn't allow me to log in for over a year. When I meet my friends again I tell them about LoL and what a fun game it is! Sadly, they didn't want to make EU accounts, so I had to move to the NA servers. Which, I still think they're douches for, because I had spent a lot of money on my EU one. I couldn't play ranked in season 1 because on my EU one I didn't think I was ready for it and once I hit ~28 on the US one season 2 just started. Once I hit level 30 though on the US account I jumped into ranked games as soon as possible... But I couldn't win matches for my life. Now, I thought it was my team mates, but looking back it really was myself. I jumped into ranked WAY too early so I pretty much wasted my first 50 ranked games.

So here's a few of my LoL goals:

Thanks for reading, but it's over midnight here in Sweden right now so I have to sleep, cheers!

So here's a few of my LoL goals:
- Reach at least gold rank before season 4.
- Increase map awareness
- Learn how to survive without starting
Boots and 3x health pot (They'll increase the price on
Boots... Right?)
- Beat my GF in the battle for Diamond
- Think more like ze pro players
MOBAFire goals:
- Actually finish my
Cho'Gath guide, it has 7 different ways to play him.
- Get a #1 placed guide.
- Get 50+ in rep.
- Try to get better grades in English class so I can be more informative and help other guides mistakes.
- Not get a guide under 50%
- Learn how to code better.
- Learn to know the community more. Most people here are awesome... But I am not too sure about the whole admins only vote on high ELO guides thing... I guess you have a lot to do. But to be honest, unfair competition.
- Make a guide that is not top lane related.

The Scout/featured guide system is getting reworked. Also I believe the High Elo guides tab on the front page is supposed to rotate through all the high elo guides on the site, not just the latest few, but that hasn't been implemented yet.
Now, that makes sense!
^To be fair, most new members don't have the friend pool that vets do. There are more than 20 editors/scouts/vets/mods/high elo friends here that all band together to give their friends the first 20 upvotes.
True, true. Now, not like this would happen but, what if one of your friends makes a terrible guide. Would you downvote it or just simply say what's wrong about it and let it be? I also liked the old featured system more then the High ELO system. Even though the featured system is still here, it's not on the front page. While right now I've seen the same High ELO

How is this unfair? Our votes don't count for any more than a brand new member to the site. Are we not allowed to vote on high elo guides for some reason??
No, no. I just kinda see it odd how that's the case more often than not.

Calling BS, the most i've seen is like, 10, and that's only for guides that are actually good anyways.
(at least from what i've seen)

I still don't.. LOL jk.
<3 you guys.
A lot of the "colored name" people have guide review services you can go to ad get your guides looked at for votes and tips. A big reason a lot of the higher guides got there was because they went to these review shops.
Will remember that.
Admins are red. Mods are blue. Vets are green. Scouts are orange. Editors are pale yellow. Regular members are bold yellow. We're not all admins, we're just members who have been active for a very long time.
You can be high elo and not a long time member. You can be a long time member and not be high elo. People who are scouts, vets, mods, admins - they have been here a long time and we all know each other.
Regular members are the new guys in the office. You can't just expect to sit at your desk and suddenly become a mod. You have to work to get there.
Why I call colored members for admins is because it's more of a habit than anything. It also makes sense to me because more often than not colored members only vote on high ELO guides.
