"+1, I think you should add Banshee Veil into the core of AP Nuke.
Boots > Cata > Deathcap > Banshee Veil
is pretty strong on just about any caster and offers a lot of survivability. Zil is super hard to catch with it.
Also, frozen heart is pretty epic on Zil. ^^"
