Posted a Comment: "@ DarkPercy: I understand your point. The main thing I was going for was starting with w at level 1 and may have gotten a little carried away with maxing it first. Starting with w gives you a little bit of extra last hitting power at early levels and gives you the ability to blow up your blight"

Maxing w first gives you lots of extra damage per auto attack as well as provides extra damage when you use abilities. If you were instead to max q first it wouldn't provide the same amount of damage. Additionally, your q is inheren"
