Ta da, my latest post for all the latest League News, more stuff than I usually put down (mostly due to the fact that I haven't posted anything in a bit). Let me know, by the way, if you think I should do a separate kind of post that is made up of people's skin ideas, cause I've stumbled upon quite a few neat ones.

? How/why would I become those people? D: What did I do? As for the chubby thing, I think MissMaw was referring to Caitlyn's legs, not her arms. My arms are chubby in comparison, is what I meant ^^
I think when you're drawing you have licence to make unrealistic things, such as the gun and the belt - to be sure, I do have thicker belts, but none that would go so low-slung. It would have been a big coincidence if I managed to have a belt the same proportions as Cait's. It was the best I could do.
What makes you think she shot someone in the same building? There's a window in the background. I simply said it was drawn after assassination - she could simply be turning around to leave her surveillance spot. But I guess unless we somehow manage to talk to the artist, we'll never know :3
Simply the adjectives such as "unflattering", etc. I know you aren't, but to some it can appear to be fishing for compliments à la Tinystar and MBIB (not sure on the latter... his character is baffling to me).
Anyway, back to the original discussion. Yep that would be a coincidence, but I think that larger belts that go so low-slung would definitely restrict movement. I mean I'm no expert on fashion, but I just get that feeling from the way it's drawn.
There are two reasons that make me believe she did not shoot someone who was outside. Number one, she's standing on a ledge within the structure, facing away from the two windows shown and her gun pointing in such an angle that she most likely wouldn't even been able to shoot someone through the window even if she was standing right in front of it. Two, she cannot possibly standing in front of a window that we wouldn't be able to see as the bell hangs centered with respect to the windows shown and these bells are often hung in a tower, which would also explain why snipers often chose this particular structure. I get the impression that Caitlyn is standing on the ledge that leads to the section where the bell hangs and shot someone from there which heavily implies they were in the building when that happens.

Lastly, yes she shot someone but what sniper would hide in a clock tower (to get a great view of the surroundings) to shoot someone who's apparently in the same building?! The angle and setting are great and make a lot of sense, except why aren't we, as viewers, watching from the outside in? I dunno, that just makes a lot more sense to me but hey, I'm just a crazy person.

I think we can conclude that a chunkier belt would have the same effect. Oh, also, here's a "waist-level" belt picture, for comparison. Just so you can see how far down my hips are from my waist, and how far down the belt can be hung.
As for perspective... excuse my clothes and I am chubby (unlike Caitlyn), so I probably don't do the pose justice at all, but here's a quick picture taken by my sister. Notice, my arms (despite being chubby) are smaller than my legs. Yes, it's an unflattering pose for an actual human, which is why many photographers take photos from above, unless trying to give the subject "power". Anyway, hopefully from the pic you can see what I was trying to say about perspective. Really unflattering pic =.=
Lastly, notice the smoke from Cait's gun, and the pigeons at flight. Let's assume she's just shot someone. Notice her hat. We could say she's taking her hat off, as she's completed her mission, or saluting someone (as sheriffs with hats are wont to do). So perhaps the artist drew her from the eyes of a deputy helping Cait out, or just as an omnipresent artist drawing Cait after a successful mission.
And as a reward for reading all that and having to endure bad pictures of me, here's cat tax. Her name is Pixel.
LoL has established that belts aren't necessarily worn in the correct places. Looks like a low-slung belt to me, not one around her waist, but more around her hips.
Pretty sure that's perspective. You can clearly see that the gun is absolutely huge the closer it gets to the screen. Also, this is drawn from "below", which is why her lower body is bigger than her upper body. You get the same effect if you take a picture from the floor, the camera pointing up towards your face.
Not sure about this one. Maybe she has blue hair because Vi has pink hair? Maybe Piltover is popular for having coloured hair?
Caitlyn is a sniper. Often assassins would have to hid in bell towers or on top of tall buildings to get a good position to assassinate someone with their guns. I imagine that's what the artist was going for. Pigeons because pigeons roost in high, dark places (presumably the best vantage spots for sniper-wielding sheriffs, like Caitlyn).

It's part perspective, but it cannot possibly be all perspective; if it is, then it's drawn incorrectly.
I suppose that's an explanation. Personally I think it's more what OTG said. Either way it's a very stupid decision and makes no sense in regard to the style of the new SR (less cartoony). Regarding Vi and Jinx, it really matches their characters.
True, I agree. However, wouldn't it be more interesting to view from the outside in? I mean, snipers who sit in clock towers don't really sit their to snipe people who are inside the same building.
