You want boots and health potions for the survivability, you'll just get harassed to death with only a dorans. Secondly, you get tear of goddess rather late, you should get it before maxing boots instead of cataly"

If you actually took the time to read through he has Aegis, Banshees, FON, Merc Treads and Guardian all under situational. Together, they provide 228 MR, a spell shield, a revive and CC reduction.
