The main (perhaps the only) reason I start with sapphire crystal is because it's gives you more lay waste - if you are able to succesfully zone your opponent in mid, then I prefer to have more "bubble" early, rather than having more sustained"

Morello's is a fine item on Karth, though with blue buff and masteries, your CD is actually pretty decent. Depending on whether you want max AP or more CDR. Quality vs. quantity. :p"
