"You don't have to buy Thornmail. Thornmail is really situational, so it depends on the enemy team. You shouldn't follow the item sequence in the top completely, since tank builds rely on the enemy team. I suggest you read the item section, if you haven't already :)

It should give your team CDR for a period of time as well as improves movement speed, because you constantly tell them to do stuff faster."
