"Either way, solid HP and HP + resistances have different functions.
If my enemy only has 1 burst caster, and 4 sustained auto attacking DPS champs, I would be fine to get 5k HP, and 300 armor, and have absolutely no MR at all.
HP counters burst magic damage. Another reason WMG's is so good. "
