Counter picking can't be done unless you have a page for every scenario.
If you're concerned about getting bang for your buck, I'd get the armor and MR quints. They will be useful on lots of champions to come in the future as well ^_^

Janna could only win if she wins trades and I'm not sure I see her doing that since Olaf full clears the shield in one skill and keeps coming.
Whereas with Karma, it's just WHABOOSH, shield + damage you're 250-300 HP down brolaf."
