Game 1: TSM versus Crs
Pregame:
Great advantage for TSM as Crs doesn't have their top laner. Expecting exceptional play from TSM.
Postgame:
CRS WINS
Idk what to say. Was disappointed by TSM at the beginning, but Crs played REALLY well especially with a random player that got outlaned by Rainman. TSM made an insanely good baron steal and some good initiations, but really, it was as Chaox said. Kog'maw completely destroyed them.
Things that stood out
- OddOne baron steal, coming on with a juke from their purple first top tower to Crs's blue buff.
- Chaox's Sivir initation and positioning at last teamfight. Would've been won if weren't for Kog.
- NyJacky had some really good counter-initiations with an ult+Zhonya's before Sona hit her ult.
- Cop 14/0 Kog COMPLETELY destroyed TSM.
- Crs making great dragon calls.
Game 2: M5 versus EHome
Pregame:
Tons of drama about Ehome Max recently. I'm curious to see how Ehome is going to deal with Moscow Five's super-aggressive strats. Really sad that iG and WE couldn't come. I'm really interested to see how Chinese strats and work in comparison to NA and EU strats!
Postgame:
M5 WINS
Well I really came to a conclusion once I saw how Ehome reacted to m5's gameplay. They tried their best, but they really don't have the knowledge to react well to m5's aggressiveness. Ehome proved to be strong at knowing their champions, but they could not adapt to such aggressive playstyle and changing game. It seems to me that they're used to both teams farming early, contesting for dragon mid, and just playing the game like that. They have a "staple" way to play, which is of course really strong, but they couldn't react to random factors.
There was one thing that really stood out to me. Blitzcrank's grab during the first baron fight. I think if the rest of the team all went in on baron with blitz holding off GP they would've split up M5 and successfully won that fight.
WP M5 showing insanely powerful gameplay and WP Ehome for slightly catching up, showing some really good plays. They are insanely good at mindset controlling and setting the pace of the game.
Things that stood out
- Aggressive 3 man towerdive by M5 at level two
- Max escaping alive from the 3-man gank
- Counter-initiation from a GP teleporting bot as WW flash-ulted and dived bot, resulting in two kills for M5
- Constant lane switches from both teams in attempt to counter lanes.
- Consistent aggressive and stable gameplay from M5
