But xerath has problems with the rest of his game

And Malphites main purpose in a fight is to nuke the carry. It's what gives his team the advantage.

BV is a nice counter to his ulti. but man if he gets a good hit on the rest of your team... :/ His ult still packs quite a wallop if he gets half your team with it.
It would save your skin for sure though.

Sidenote: I have actually seen premade team anticipate this and put mid along with malphite jungle so that could poke off BV bubbles for him. OP.
