"Start carrying their asses. I find that whenever people go "OMG UR SO BAD THOSE ITEMS NO HEXTECH SWAIN" or crap like that and then I'm suddenly on killing sprees they just shut the fuck up and follow my leads, meaning they even take itemization advice."

Also learn when you are strong enough to help other lanes. If your carry go strong and stuff is well warded, you can try going mid and using that tripple stun on their enemy mid. If you're midlaning, roam when you're strong enough. If top, consider going mid sometimes.
