After a long struggle I finally made it back to Platinum. Though yes, as the title of the blog implies, I really haven't achieved anything for myself. The goal this season is Diamond and it's a long road ahead with limited time to go, so let's see if I can do the trick once more.
A fun fact, I lost the first game of the series with
Viktor, my current main champion. Can't say that game was my fault though, I had the enemy Malzahar under control by rushing a Quicksilver Sash at minute 8. Then, I did a hat-trick with Varus. I didn't play him in a while but well, why not?
Anyone else still struggling to reach their goal? Or have you already achieved it? Perhaps any Diamond players here who want to reflect on their journey through platinum? Anyway, post your thoughts in the comments below.
but with a change of mindset. I made it into Gold 1 where I'm right now^^. Keep faith up and you'll make it.
Edit: just don't take people's ****, don't argue, and lead those ****ers to victory.
I've failed 2 promos already.
My roommate coined this saying for me that goes something along the lines of:
"Win lane, lose game"
I sometimes hear
"Game of throws", too
It's not impossible to carry with a support, but arguably harder than as a mid laner or ADC.
Going for plat, but recent struggles with my laptop have been keeping me from playing a lot. Confident I'll make it out though, laptop's been fixed.
@OTG: It's pretty doable as support only once you're high silver. At least that's my experience with it ^^
