Views: 473 New Player Looking For Some Assistance

So i've been playing league for just about a week now and i'm level 24, i've played the game a lot because i've found it really fun and interesting but I feel like I need to diversify my champion selections and my roles.
Currently I am a jungler but i do like to play mid occasionally with Fizz and Akali but I must admit i'm not having the most success with Akali. For the jungle role I play Amumu and Kayn which are really fun champions with different enough tactics and builds that I don't get bored of the jungle role easily before i switch to mid for a few games. I've been looking into the support and bottom lane roles but whenever I try, I seem to find lots of deaths and not much success. I would like to try Lucian bottom because the champion is one of the free weekly heroes and looks interesting to me but i'd like to expand my knowledge on the mid and jungle roles more before branching out and looking at other things.
Honestly, any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time reading this to anyone that did!
Sincerely, HallowSss
P.S. My Summoner Name is HalloWww if you were looking for my stats

YOUR SUPPORT IS IMPORTANT! Find people to play with Discord! You need communication with your sup otherwise you will misplay a lot! Your whole game plan on bot pre 6 depends on your support. ADCs are weak early game. Even strong early game ADCs (draven , kalista) need strong early game engage sup with CC to kill on lvl 2 or 1. But ok you know how to play with engage tank supports (just fight when they start a fight and you have dmg to kill enemy), but what to do with mages and enchanter supports? Mages are good for poking enemies so that they are low on health and can't fight you (if your lux stays behind you,and doesn't pressure enemy engage sup, she is useless). When you play with mages you just wait when enemy gets low on hp and you can all in them, or poke after your mage stuned enemy (for example Lucion can E - AA - Q - AA and walk away). What about enchanter support? Well since most of the enchanter supports are mid - late game champs you should just take late game ADC when playing with them. You need skill to kill enemies on Draven with Yuumi sup. But it's super easy to win bot when you pick Twitch with Yuumi and you crush enemy bot on lvl 6. I really recommend choosing 2 champs for adc roll, 1 mid or late game carry and 1 good early game champ. Lucion in my opinion is all around champ , and you can play him strong in early , mid and ok late. So nice pick. Also check champions on https://app.mobalytics.gg/lol/champions?src=home-menu they show you champs power spikes and when in the game they are strong. For example Yuumi is a late game monster!
If you have more specific questions i may answer them (i am silver so i might be wrong)
Top lane: really matchup dependant. On this lane you need to know your enemy because fights happen many times there. The lane is long so it's hard to run away from fight under tower (unlike mid). So this lane requires knowing how to manipulate the wave (to freez and not let enemy farm when you win, or slow push into dive for a kill under tower ,most of the time with your jg) and knowing matchup. There are matchups when your S tier champ will be just useless (like Darius vs Vayne or Wukong) there is nothing you can do (on Darius) if you are equal in skill and your jg doesn't help you (maybe he shouldn't since you are a losing lane anyway, and there maybe other better options to win a game). You also need to know when you are stronger than your enemy and use your chance to kill him (you need to kill nasus before lvl 6 when you play darius). Also 1 kill on top lane changes everything. When your enemy is 1 lvl ahead or bought more items than you, you can't win a fight. There are exceptions, for example when you REALLY counter enemy champ, otherwise just wait for enemy mistakes.
Why i talk about top lane? Because it's a lane where you learn fundamentals. You need to think about all this things on other rolls too , just less.
I will later write about bot lane since it was a really hard lane for me.
I wouldn't advice to play other roles, maybe stick to 1 or 2, it's a bit hard to be able to have success with a ton of roles since every role has a different goal and different champions. I think what you have now is pretty good with 2 champions for 2 roles, and you're not getting bored so easily either so I'd heavily recommend to just continue playing what you enjoy, since you'll be able to improve the more you play.
