Hello everyone!
This last weekend I really played LoL a lot (in my terms, I can play maybe 1-2 matches per day, playing 5+ means a lot. This weekend I played maybe around 15-20 matches :D) and even though I'm happy for leveling up by 2 levels, I got pretty fed up with my random team-mates.
In every 3 of 5 games I got some rage kid, that started to wreak havoc on the team morale.
And I always took the pain and somehow persuaded him, to calm down. At first I didn't mind, but with every other game it got harder and harder not to say to him something like THIS and mute him.
But in a game, where I just muted him and went on, I saw how our team's efficiency started to decrease. All of a sudden, jungler stoped ganking, top started to feed and even that enemy team was a bunch of really bad players, we lost.
We lost, because my team spent more time typing **** into the team chat and not paying attention to the game. Best part was when they just went to the bush to have time to write something nasty, got ambushed and died. Then tehy started to insult even the enemy team.
And in the matches where I interviened, it was me who had no time to pay attention, recalled or stayed behind the turret a lot - just to be sure I am safe to talk to this kid to back off... therefore I was not supporting my ADC and he had a hell of a time down there, all alone. Some of them said afterwards that I suck in supporting. And I couldn't say a thing to them, because they were right!
Worst thing is I still don't know what to do next time. Leave them be and focus on my ADC and my lane, or waste my time with some 10 year old wanker, who should be kicked right up his arse, to understand how to be a team player? Calming down a troll can save your game and rise your chances to win - but it takes away your mental strength and joy from the game. :(
Any suggestions?

Actually, I'm not getting toxic or into a rage myself during these games. I got annoyed pretty much, since I don't mute them as well (just say I do and then carry on so I know if something important is going on), but not angry.
It's just harder to focus since I have to read all that *****, although it has no value. And it drains my energy out.
When I talk to the rage kids, I try to calm them down, or shut up in a polite way (otherwise I'll be just feeding the troll). It works in 80%, I just don't feel like doing it anymore.
What good does kicking him up his arse do?
Can you imagine how good would it feel at that moment? :D Like THIS , only imagine the kid being toxic instead of laughling... :D
What good does kicking him up his arse do? What good does insulting him behind his back do? Let me put it this way. A person might be heaving a bad day, or he or she might be a horrible person, either way, getting all frustrated about it is useless in it's conundrum. You always have the possiblity of muting him, and I look into never getting mad about a person for being bad at the game, possibly though because I kidna suck myself. Anyways, SivHD brought up a great point about this thing. "Will this thing really matter to you in a year?" If so, I reckon you have all the right in the world to get mad. If not, its probably pretty pointless.
And as always, yer a git dat's muckin' about, get 'on da choppafloppa!
Listening to Lilypichu will only make it worse cause her voice will make you want to commit suicide - or well, maybe that's just me :]
lol this is very possible.
When I play on smurfs or on EUNE though I can't seem to control myself. I guess it's cause I don't feel any obligation to stay nice on accounts that I don't consider my mains, which is wrong of me, I'll admit, but I at least can blow off some steam by playing games there and hashing it out on raging idiots.

When you are calm again and do not care anymore what people think about you or about any other people, then play again :P
