"I'd recommend staying away from the main ques-tline for a bit. Knock out a lot of the other stuff, I'd also recommend leveling the shit out of lock picking. It will make your life a lot easier.
As well, when you go into the bunkhouse for the champions (downstairs) I'd suggest buying ~40 or so loc"
