I have tried both, and I much prefer the Talisman. You can make good use of the Machete, but I find the sustain given from Talisman (via mana regen and HP steal) is more valuable. "

I have played against Nasus as Illaoi (I've played vs well known Nasus player Sirhcez) and I do agree with you, Nasus is a rough lane matchup. I wouldn't put him as a counter though, because unless he is snowballed he can't reall"
