Void Staff gives you 70 AP and 35% (!) magic penetration.

I would probably use Warmogs instead of Rylai's
and Abyssal Cepter over Deathfire Grasp
but these are personal preferences.

The reason I take Haunting Guise over Hextech Revolver:
Spellvamps effect is decreased by 2/3 if your spell is AoE.

3/4 of Katarinas spells are AoE and Shunpo is used for utility and deals"
