"Why would you start with shield? It does not fit your build, I would use sword instead because it give attack,lifesteal, and health which is more of the build you are going."

"Ignite is terrible for Caitlyn because she is long range and it has relitevly short range, she would have to get cvlose and that would not besmart seeing as she is so squishy. Also Armor pentration runes are better and go 9/21/0 masteries. Survives longer and more damage output."
