I honestly have very little experience in the matchup but I do understand how to beat auto attack reliant champions. Make sure you use your stun and 3rd Q knock up to cancel his auto attacks, especially when he uses Violent Tendencies. If he lands Beartrap on a Rope make sure to dash"

It's a sub optimal item and there are much better AD items on Riven. The reason you see people building it is because they're just trying to stack flat armour pen mindlessly which is fun but far from optimal."
