Did my first pvp on normal sum rift. I went 5-0-3. killed two towers and one inhibitor. Waited so long to play pvp and it was a lot more fun and easy(in that game) then I thought. I went bot as Kog-Maw along with Jax. My team mate was great we ganked well I juked a few ss and we saved each others ***es. No game has a sense of teamwork and strategy like lol and i plan to play the hell out of it for a long time.
Bot games haven't been around forever, so a lot of older players never even had the choice of whether to play versus bots or jump straight into normals. Bot games can be nice to work on your mechanics or experiment with new builds and champions if you don't want to be embarrassed in a normal or something, but don't be afraid to learn through PvP games. You'll improve much more quickly that way and you'll have a better sense of how the game really plays.

You know, that's almost the exact same thing I tell some of my newer friends I play with.
You wouldn't be able to tell by my level, but I've been playing since early season 1. ;D
