"There isn't any limitation that anyone should be hitting (there is a text size limitation in the database but it's quite high). The only reason I would have to implement one is if people's signatures get out of control and it starts bogging down page load times."

"However if you go over 20 votes, then enough people delete their votes to bring you back below 20 again, it will automatically activate. Basically any vote that ever occurs under the 20 count will be forced to show publicly with a comment."

"I'm not understanding you here. You seem to say that forced comments with public voting causes fear and retaliation, but then you say you want it because it will give you more feedback. Are you saying we should force comments but not show the vote?"
