So I've been doing some thinking, some playing and a little bit of everything. I know I had said I was going to update my bruiser 
Nidalee guide for season 4. I generally like to keep promises, I hate breaking my word, but it's not going to happen. There are a number of reasons why, but the main reason boils down to Nidalee simply being terrible for top lane. I could say that I've lost motivation and it would be somewhat true, I could say I haven't really played top much this season and that would also be true, but more than anything, the real reason is Nidalee is ****ing terrible. I literally cannot express how absolutely terrible she is. She was nerfed pretty hard with the total removal of armor and MR but season 4 put the nail in the coffin. Health stacking bruisers that are ultra tanky are the meta (once again) and Nidalee isn't that. In fact, the defensive tree, as ridiculously broken as it is, is horrendous for Nidalee.
Tenacious
and Perseverance are pretty much useless for Nidalee. The offensive tree is terrible as well, but I guess the lesser of two evils. Basically Nidalee has no place in top lane anymore and there's really no reason to play her over someone like Shyvana, so I'm not going to update my guide for something that isn't viable

I can't really argue with you on specifics since you're a lot more experienced with nid than me, but my team has gotten wrecked by a couple bruiser nids in top lane in ranked 5s. Even if she's bad against mundo meta, that doesn't mean she's terrible. Plenty of people play other champions in top lane that give her better matchups.
Or perhaps in lieu of an update, time to switch to mid, moon? Bjergsen had a pretty fantastic performance on Nidalee yesterday.
You can still stomp with
There are enough AP
Try building Blade of the Ruined King rush into Triforce or Iceborn Gauntlet. You can deal with tanks and you just take their inhibitor tower at 18 minutes. Pretty OP.

It does work but it doesn't fit the meta. I've seen it played in high diamonds on KR but it's really niche atm.
Wouldn't go to say it's completely unviable.
