Views: 3801 Pro Guests/Challenger Guides

Why is it that Challenger guides written by pro guests automatically get 100%? It's kind of aggravating when you work on your guide almost daily every week to ensure that it's in top shape only to have a challenger guide get posted and rated higher than yours. I guess it wouldn't bother me so much if these guides were actually updates for the current season.
Something more like Veng's example with Ecco's guides is probably a better one to choose.
Voosha is a former challenger 3v3s expert. The other Karma guides have nowhere near the kind of depth for 3v3s that he does. There also hasn't been huge gameplay changes in 3v3 nor Karma, so it's not massively outdated either.
The problem as a whole I can agree with. That specific example takes the piss a little bit.
and
Veng pretty much hit the issue I was getting at on the nose. Lack of votes, lack of effort. lack of attention, lack of quality, number one rated guide in their category.
Edit: Let me explain where I was coming from a bit and just throw everything on the table. The guide that was in question was in fact written by Voosha. A 3v3 Karma guide. His guide only focuses on 3v3's and literally nothing else. Which is very little compared to the two other guides that are actually well kept in Karmaland.
Now as I write this there appears to be a glitch in the "top rated" tabs under Karma. As of right now the number one Karma guide is at 93% (165) with over 1 million views. Voosha is at number 2 with 100% (6 votes) and 37k views. Number three is at 77% (17 votes)and 24k views. And number four (mines) is at 92% (34) and 117k views.
Normally Voosha switches places with the 93% guide and I follow under hers. I have no idea why it displays that way. But either way, you look at the stats and see what's going on here. If you switch the "Updated" tab Voosha's guide falls to place number eight. Seeing as their is barely any traffic at all in the Karma guides compared to other champions, his guide is basically a baby in terms of stats compared to the others, yet he holds a 100% rating with six votes and an outdated build.
As Let me clarify that I don't care that he has a "pro" guide. I love the fact that it's there because it brings more attention to Karma than she would have otherwise. But it needs to earn it's place. "Pro" or not.
Well just ignore it >.< they doesn't bother you that much isn't it O.o. Most people will probably look at the "Most Upvotes" and "Most Viewers" and will ignore something like 6 votes 100%(well....maybe? :P)
And....I don't think they place the guide accordingly, and they also mentioned "Special Guest Guide", not "Number 1 Guide" on the first place:

That and a good lot of people here (actually, the League community as a whole) are tools.
Truth be told, I stopped voting on any pro featured guides other than Voosha's 3v3 guides because I thought those got a load of votes anyway (making my vote not matter very much). I haven't looked through them at all, but if all Ecco is doing is copy and pasting, then this is probably a matter that does need to be brought up.
Although, the time that there was Athene's featured 'guide'... omd.
Oh wait lol, what is common sense?
Just look at this ****.
All the info is basically copy paste but he changes the icons it's crazy.
Next time a thread comes up about this I'm gonna start kicking again for a cap to featured guides.
He's just taking up a guide spot that COULD be going to a decent guide that actually has more than 13 seconds of effort put into it.
And it's not like he has to have a vast knowledge of the champion to make a guide on the champ.
'I can play EZ so I can play Jinx' >makes guide on it
They are just stupid stream advertisements and it's so pathetic.
Don't mean any offense here, but what happened to Duff? Once a very active member that produced quality guides, and now all he uses the site for is 'Hi I'm streaming'.
