"Well stand united is shen's main spell and it doesn't cost any energy. And if you don't overuse your abilities and coordinate your spells you can make great use out of it."

"Well, this doesn't count for shen, because he relies on his shadow dash and stand united, two spells with relative long cooldown. This way, you increase his power drastically.
At lategame, vorpal blade is not so usefull(only a meh cc item with rylai's crystal scepter). feint"

"Well, you could also buy an early heart of gold and build it into randuin's omen. The combination with frozen heart and rylai's crystal scepter gives you massive CC."
