"Not in many cases. There are plenty of cases where purchasing items for mid game is highly effective and only get sold if you hit late late late game. Not always best, but certainly not uncommon. "

"lol, ty. I still would not put it above C&D with the attack speed and crit change. Higher crit grant and 20% AS synergizes better with IE and expunge. Like I said, atmas is a good item, but not the ideal."

"I've considered it, but the damage output you'll gain from the atmas is not as good as what you'll get from the impailer (havent gone through all the math but I'm pretty sure), and the tenacity from C&D early/mid game is more helpful that the meanial armor you get from the atmas. Not a bad item"

"idk I think he's fairly balanced. At first i thought he was UP cuz his skills were hard to get used to, he is strong, but he doesn't have any instant champ kill combos so I think they'll probably leave him where he is for the time being. "
