"Anything is possible. I have tried AP builds on custom games, but nothing came of it.
I would never do something like that to my team mates in a real game. I don't see the logic in buying AP items to buff one ability, when all the abilities in her kit use AD."

"She only has one ability that uses AP. Excessive Forece causes next basic attack to deal 10/30/50/70/90 (+1.15 Attack Damage) (+0.7 Ability Power) physical damage to the target and enemies behind it.
That is the only part of Vi's kit that uses AP. "
