Of course you can take the 5 AP and I sometimes do it but I think it is a "matter of taste". Some prefer AS and some AP. Clarity is no longer an option since Patch 3.8. I u"

Posted a Comment: "There are quite similar Guides but just not the same. Many of the AP-Kayle-Guides rely on hybrid Items such as Guinsoo's, Hextech or something like that. I've also never seen such offensive Masteries on AP-Kayle. I further swear to get as much Attack Speed as possible out of Runes. So there are q"

Posted a Comment: "Thank you guys for your feedback! @king boo311 - I choose AS Runes because Kayle's passive shreds some Amor and MR. So it is not necessary for me to take Magic Penetration. - I choose AP and AD Masteries to get more damage out of Kayle. I think defensive options do"
