Biography

Hello, mobafire. I'm just your neighborhood summoner from NA. I've been playing League on and off for around 2 years now. I haven't played much at all this past year because of college life. As to whether or not I'll get a rank this season . . . that is up to debate. I was silver I last season, though I decayed to Silver II because I couldn't play at all for a couple months. I figured I'd try to get to gold this season if time, college, and job permits. I've won 4/10 placements and need to win 6 more. My MMR is currently at the gold level.

For the mid lane, I main Katarina. She's my favorite champion as she was the first champion that really clicked with me. I basically learned the game with her from level 20 onwards in season 2. As for other mids, I can play Diana to a decent degree. I'm in the process of mastering Swain.

For top, I used to play a lot of Renekton before he got popular. I transitioned out because I hated seeing Shyvana or Jax as those match-ups get boring very quickly. If I do get back to top lane I would like to pick up Vladimir because I believe he can win any lane when played a certain way. And by a certain way I mean extremely French ;)

For the jungle, my favorite jungler has always been Xin Zhao. He used to be my main top laner before the nerfs hit him a while back. When they did, I started jungling with him. If Katarina taught me how to capitalize on mistakes and roam, then Xin Zhao taught me how to lane and then how to jungle.

As you can see, the champions in my champion pool are relatively easy to play from the get-go . . . except for Swain. The reason for this is because I don't have much time to devote to LoL. As a result, my mechanics are not very good. To compensate I rely on my decision making. By picking a mechanically simple champion, I make less errors. If I had more time I would love to pick up LeBlanc but her kit seems complicated.
