Hii, so I've been writing a few guides but I kind of got a little confused.
I only started writing guides very recently and I'm still fairly new to it so I ran into a problem.
What stuff does a good guide have?
In my most detailed
Sona guide I have fairly enough of stuff (at least I think so): from abilities, runes, tips to warding and laning phases but I'm unsure what else I could add to it.
When I check other guides they always seem really detailed to me and I just can't think of anything else to add.
Could someone maybe leave some tips to me or suggest what people add to guides to make them as detailed and helpful as possible?
Thank you :)

An intriguing question, one I struggled with myself.
First of all a good guide needs to have the basics:
That doesn't mean that if you flap all of this in a guide, it's immediately considered to be "good". Here is a more in-depth look of when I think these sections are well-made:
Cheat sheet
Items: This one depends on the champion and how you wish to present it. The cheat sheet is used as (or meant to be) a tool to quickly show the runes/items/etc of a champion. There are two flavors IMO:
Short intro / Pros and Cons
Abilities
It is also possible to draw some lines between this section and pros and cons. One could wonder why
Summoner spells
Runes
Items
You can quickly mention why a certain item is good, avoid listing exactly what it does though.

Beyond the basics
Key to finding things to talk about is thinking about what you do in game. The way you play depends on the champions you play with (how to play with/synergy section) and what champions you play against (matchup section).
You place wards? Do you play parallel with your ADC? Do you roam? How do you teamfight? Just play a game and ask yourself: "What am I doing?" and "Is it in my guide?". That is where detail comes from!
One last note: as you have seen, I haven't said the word "BBCode". Theoretically speaking, a guide doesn't need BBCode to be good. BUT, you want people to read the guide and formatting is kind of required because of that...
That's the end of this reply (gee golly I don't know how I always generate these huge swaths of text! XD). Feel free to PM/reply if you have any questions! ^_^
I've used your
