"Oh actually, the 7850 is 50% more expensive, not 40% as I stated.
Both cards are great, and if you got the money for a 7850 it's a good choice simply because of how little power it draws."

Better price/performance. (7850 has 20% better performance, but also costs 40% more)
Why 7850?
Draws less power.
Runs cooler."

"I'm running 1920x1200 with 1GB memory just fine (even with and older card like HD4870).
You really should save yourself those 50 bucks. The extra memory will hardly ever make a difference."
