"Buuuuut dodge is useless against a lot of auto attack spells (I think it's that way for ALL of them). Attacks like Xin Zhao's Q and Trundle's Q are not dodgable. And those are a big part of their damage.
Sure, I get the MS quints for better mobility and kiting those melees, but I still don't see "

Having almost 200armor is NOT enough to warrant dodge runes and I'm pretty sure I'd run utility masteries on Ryze. Why is dodge good again?..."

"^No, jun. Her lane was never anything more than strong, but nerfing the range of her AAs by 50 and her ball by 100 made a BIG dent in her laning power. Adding the 10 increased mana cost on that would pretty much cripple her in a lot of matchups and she'll flat out lose them.."

"They might have overnerfed her a bit. The range nerf was probably needed, but the mana nerf wasn't imo. She was pretty normal in lane before, but now she's kinda bad and gets beaten by a lot of champions in lane."
