"How do you feel about building about building a Tear of the Goddess when laning with an AD champ like Zed? I usually a seekers and then the tear. Do you feel that the chalice is still effective even when the mr is taken"

You do not want to put more than 2 points into DBC until you have e maxed. You may be more prone to taking damage but rammus' strength lies in locking opponents down so teammates can melt them. I'd suggest only leveling w at 1 and 3, possibly only at 1.
