Views: 678 So many new guides!

So it never ceases to amaze me the sheer number of new guides that come out within 24 hours of mobafire updating info for the latest patch. Now im not saying you cant learn and write a guide in 1-2 days of playing a new champ but i really cant help but wonder how many of these guides are actually good?
Yes theory crafting, good idea, I love to do that, but this seems more then theory crafting. Now I do give mobafire credit for not letting people vote on new champion guides right away(it really would be chaos if we could vote right away), but on the same note where do I start researching for info. For example I wait 3-4 days to buy the new champ because I didnt have any RP or didnt have enough IP yet. I dont want to have to experiment nearly as much as everyone else already has (trust me experiment enough as is). So with all these guides, and lots of blogs, forum threads, and other stuff telling me what to do it just seems to be too much sometimes. Granted I am kind of overplaying it here because this would apply more to new players/members on mobafire but still I think I have at least a small case to work with.
I guess having said all that Im really just asking the community to think about what you are sticking in your guide for a new champ before you publish it. I think the following guidelines will help:
#1 Do not put in random stuff or words just to fill up a guide, know and clearly expalin what your talking about.
#2. Please make your guide name meaningful. "Owning Noobs All Day" tells me nothing. "Killing Noobs in Mid" tells me that you guide is about going mid lane. That is helpful.
#3. Kind of like #1 but dont rush things, put solid time into it just like you would any other guide. yes you will have to revise it latter but still take the time now to set it up right to make it a good guide now and even better latter.
#4. If this is your first time writing a guide or you have not been succesful in the past read up on how to write guides before you writte this one. JhoiJhoi has a great guide on making guides so read up and enjoy. Link to making a guide, click here
#5. This is more of hint for getting notice then a guideline. If you have a good solid build start writing your guide now but wait 7-10 days after release to publish it. Not only will you get more attention because all the random guides are published but you will have more knowledge and experience with the champ to back your guide up with.
Hope this helps and sorry if i came accross as simply raging on stuff.
and remember to have fun XD
