If you are against a passive player / champ that cant harass you / physical mid, dont.
And if you know you wil trade dmg, ask yourself if some more AP would'nt be better than takking"

"You divide the xp by 2, and AP mid usually NEED that xp, as each rank in spell improve a lot the dmg (pure dmg, cdr, slow, % dmg, etc).
That's why they are solo lane."
