Posted a Comment: "Yeah he does occasionally go a crit heavy build which can be good for one-shotting low mobility squishy champions while in Sion passive. The Prowler's Claw changes are a bit rough and we'll have to see how it will effect the build path. AD Sion mains may test out some other options for the time bein"

Posted a Comment: "Yeah the main reason is just that his abilities have high base damage and high AD scaling so Lethality hits very hard as a stat. Just AD is fine because his Q has great scaling and you can certainly go an AD/bruiser heavy build but I would avoid an ADC or auto attack style build. Stats that Sion wan"

Posted a Comment: "The main reason people go Lethality instead of just full AD is because Sion has very high base damage on his Q and his R and great AD scaling on his Q. When he is in his passive he also does 10% max hp on hit as physical damage with every auto. These parts of his kit make Lethality and Armor Pen sup"

Classic tank Sion is a lot easier to play and a better way to learn the champion IMO but if you're mainly interested in lethality Sion, you could learn by playing that. They do have different playstyles so learning tank Sion won't neces"
