I've had this format for a while now across my multiple guides and am fairly pleased with the result since my first revamp (when comparing to my older outdated guides there's a huge difference).

Have you tried Banshee's Veil as an alternative? Assuming you're up against Zyra and other strong champions you refer to are AP mages like Brand/Xerath etc.
